Dynamic new team to guide Jane’s Fund towards continued success
Since opening the doors just over a year ago, Jane’s Fund has:
Given away more than $2.7M to the community
Supported more than 70 projects for families caring for a child dying of cancer, including fully paying off six family homes.
Supported projects in 18 schools in Charlotte, including purchasing 1,162 laptops for graduates from under-resourced high schools to take with them to college, and funding a trip to DC for Renaissance West STEAM Academy’s 8th grade students (view video).
… And this is just the beginning!
As Jane’s Fund continues to go deeper this summer with Title I schools in Mecklenburg County and wider with hospitals across the state, we are excited to announce a dynamic new team to guide the organization toward continued success.
Tilden Arnold, Interim Executive Director
Tilden will serve as Jane’s Fund’s new interim Executive Director, effective June 10. Tilden has extensive experience leading high impact projects in the education sector for non-profits and comes to Jane’s Fund from Communities In Schools, where she served as a Site Coordinator in a Title I school, and later as a Project Manager leading new initiatives. She graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South and received her Masters in Education from Vanderbilt University. We are confident that under her leadership the organization’s success and impact in achieving its mission and vision will continue to flourish.
Asheton Robinson, Development Associate
Asheton will serve as Jane’s Fund’s Development Associate. Asheton is dedicated to improving the medical and physical well-being of others. As a biology major and student athlete from North Greenville University, she comes to Jane’s Fund from the medical sales industry and a prior role as a Medical Assistant at H3 Healthcare here in Charlotte. Asheton is dedicated to excellence, and we are thrilled to have her support our development efforts toward continued success.
With their strategic insights, innovative ideas, and dedication to collaboration, we are confident that our growing team, which will also include a Director of Development, will drive positive change and lead Jane’s Fund to new heights!
