This year, Jane's Fund will donate over 1,000 brand new laptops DIRECTLY to CMS high school graduates so they can launch into secondary education prepared for success. 

Graduates like Mallory:

Mallory entered her sophomore year at West Charlotte High School with barriers stacked high against her. She lived with her grandmother where she helped care for her chronically ill mother. She held down a job to help support the family yet still continued to find a way to prioritize her education.  Her hard work paid off in spades when Mallory graduated a year early, walking across the stage to receive her well-deserved diploma.  The following fall, she headed to nursing school through Atrium Health, where she is working towards a degree that will honor her mother and give back to her community.

When she graduated high school, she had to turn in her school-issued chromebook, leaving her without the necessary technology for her college experience. Jane's Fund was thrilled to give Mallory a laptop of her own as she embarked on this brave new chapter.

Her teachers and administrators are proud of the light Mallory shines and hold her up as the picture of determination and perseverance- and an example of the impact that community partnerships can make.
