Every Second Counts

Diagnosed with osteosarcoma (a bone tumor in the upper arm near the shoulder at age 15), Susannah battles reoccurring health setbacks and challenges: chemotherapy, left arm amputation, radiation, learning to use a prosthetic, school, relapsed cancer, chemotherapy, high school graduation, college, a job, and cancer relapse again (tumor metastasis).

Despite countless struggles and adversity, Susannah refuses to let cancer hinder her dreams. Susannah is currently studying engineering at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, and she is determined to graduate in 10 months.

After depleting family savings and now taking a break from work for treatment, Susannah continues to go to school but neither she or her family can afford college living expenses. Thank you for helping Susannah succeed.
