Queen City Scholars

Queen City Scholars is the Charlotte expansion of the Delaware College Scholars Program. The organization helps socially and academically prepare high-achieving, under-resourced public high school students for successfully applying to, succeeding in and graduating from four-year colleges and universities.

They do this through a unique residential program for three consecutive summers (after 10th grade - post HS graduation) helping students gain the lived experience of being away from home, layered with academic support and knowledge such as college visits, SAT/ACT prep, 1-on-1 college counseling, college application curriculum and more.

Jane's Fund is proud to support the growth of this initiative in our community by sponsoring TWO scholars at West Charlotte High School, Harding University High School and Garringer High School, each, for the next two years. The students will got through an application and interview process before being selected- we can't wait to introduce you to the newest QC Scholars this spring before they head out to change the world!
