A Letter from Jackson’s Parents
Dear Jane's Fund Supporters,
We could have never imagined having something like this done for us. Our son Jackson, at age 4, was diagnosed with a grade 2 ependymoma (a brain tumor). He had some trouble after surgery but recovered and then had 33 radiation treatments in Florida. He was an absolute trooper. The kid’s connection with God has always been very strong. He was a very social and active kiddo, playing baseball for six plus years, until February 2023 when he started having headaches again. He was diagnosed with a high-grade radiation induced glioma (another brain tumor brought on by his treatment for the first). He has had two additional surgeries and 29 more radiation treatments. He has fought very hard and had a lot of struggles over the last year, but his attitude and faith have stayed strong.
Jane’s fund paying off our mortgage has been a tremendous blessing. Both of us have continued working throughout this whole year. Mom (Jackie) has been blessed with a very great and understanding job and has had the flexibility to work from home when needed. Dad (Jason’s) job has been great as well, but he is a mechanic, so working remotely is not an option. Having the large financial burden of our mortgage taken off our plate, is huge. It takes away some stress to have to go to work when really wanting to be with Jackson at appointments or on different occasions.
We will never be able to thank you and Jane’s Fund enough for this amazing generosity.
Love,
The Hall Family
