Caring for Cooper

15-year-old Cooper has been fighting a cancerous tumor in his abdomen since November 2022. He's completed 8 cycles of chemotherapy and is now on cycle 4 of his second round. His treatment requires 5 days in the hospital at a time in addition to other appointments.

Cooper's mom is a single mom of 3 and is unable to work consistently as she keeps up with Cooper's treatment and round-the-clock care. His amazing social worker at Duke University Hospital reached out to Jane's Fund for assistance with the family's bills, hoping to remove one stressor so that mom can spend crucial time with her son.

Jane's Fund paid three months of car payments and car insurance as well as covering car repairs. Our mission calls us to do what we can to keep families together as they care for a child dying of cancer. Thank you for giving that gift to Cooper and his family.
