Learning and Living Life to the Fullest

Jill was a brave and driven 18-year-old girl living on the coast of NC. After her diagnosis with brain cancer, she chose to continue with her plans to move to Charlotte and attend Belmont Abbey for college.

Her condition rapidly deteriorated and she spent more time in hospitals then on campus. Her parents took time off work to travel in and out of the city as frequently as possible to be with their daughter, as she was too sick to travel home.

When doctors predicted Jill had just weeks left to live, Jane’s Fund paid four months of her family mortgage hoping to lighten the load for her incredible parents while they balanced bills with days off work, travel costs and the desire to be by their daughter's side for her last weeks on Earth.

Thank you for being a light in the darkness for families like Jill's.
