Congrats, Grads!

High School seniors must give their school-issued chromebooks back at the end of the year, which often means they are headed to college without a computer of their own.  Last Spring, Jane’s Fund donated over 800 laptops to graduating seniors at West Charlotte, West Mecklenburg and Harding High Schools, as well as students attending other CMS schools through GenOne and Carolina Youth Coalition, on “Decision Day”, celebrating their plans for secondary education.

This year, we're at it again! Just last week, 88 laptops were delivered to early graduates at each of those high schools, following their commencement ceremony. We will do the same for all spring grads this May! We hope this program will help these scholars enter their next chapter feeling prepared and ready for success.

Congratulations to these early grads who are heading to awesome institutions such as UNC Greensboro, UNC Charlotte, Central Piedmont Community College and the US Army and Navy!
