Keys to Hope

Their world turned upside down with the diagnosis of an inoperable brain tumor. 17-year-old Shawn and his family never imagined transportation would be a challenge for tackling cancer treatment and everyday life. Shawn turned into the family super hero when he selflessly asked his social worker at Atrium Health for a reliable car to help his parents navigate their new life. 

Thanks to the support of compassionate donors like you, Jane's Fund took this burden of transportation off the list of worries and purchased a car for Shawn's family.  This car has not only eased their logistical challenges, but also provided a sense of stability and hope during a time of uncertainty and fear. Shawn's journey is far from over, but with the help of people like you, he and his family can focus more on his treatment and less on how they will get there. 

Shawn is one of 82 remarkable stories, just this year, that we have the privilege of being a small part of, pouring $1.16M back into the community. This surpasses the total number of projects fulfilled last year, and just this month we have paid off 3 cars and 2 mortgages for five families fighting pediatric caner. We can't wait for even more magic this year- all thanks to your partnership and generosity.
