Princess Carter

Being a princess is more than wearing a tiara. Princesses are strong, brave, and persevere in challenging times, which is why 5-year-old Carter is the real deal - not only does she look beautiful in a tiara, she continues to fight an evil dragon with bravery and strength.

Up until 4 months ago, Carter experienced a healthy childhood full of quality family time, drawing pictures, watching Frozen (her favorite princesses are Elsa and Anna), and playing with friends. When Carter began having balance issues, her mom took her to the doctor to get evaluated, unaware of the life-changing news she would receive...

Carter was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumor- DIPG. The life she and her family once knew was completely uprooted and replaced with hospital beds and shunts to drain fluid from her brain.

When you are fighting an evil dragon like DIPG, rent should be the last of your concerns, which is why Jane’s Fund is jumping in to help and will continue to fight this dragon with Carter and her mom as new challenges arise.
