Remembering Sarah

A few days before Christmas, three-year-old Sarah passed away from complications of the cancer in her liver. She was diagnosed just three months prior.

Sarah was an only child. Her mother works as a teacher at the daycare that Sarah attended. In the wake of this sudden and unfathomable tragedy, she is having a hard time returning to her job. And though it feels the world should stop, the bills don't.

Last week, Jane's Fund paid five months of rent, just over $9,000, for Sarah's parents as they navigate this reality and work to find the right path forward.
